The contents of the Apple iPhone 16 retail box now include the phone itself, a set of documentation, a SIM ejector pin (specific to India), and a braided USB-C to USB-C cable. This represents a more streamlined and environmentally-conscious packaging approach, focusing on reducing waste and the overall carbon footprint.

This shift away from including the Apple sticker began with the release of the M2 iPad Air and the M4 iPad Pro, signaling a broader trend in Apple’s product packaging strategy. The iPhone 11 was the last model to feature a particularly rich unboxing experience, complete with two Apple stickers, a 5W power adapter, a USB cable, and EarPods.
