The Apple iPhone 17 series is set to launch in India in just two months, and speculation around its design, camera, features, and variants is keeping fans on edge. The lineup—rumored to include iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max—is expected to bring significant upgrades along with premium pricing.
While Apple hasn’t officially revealed prices, a number of leaks suggest the following estimates:
iPhone 17: ₹79,900 in India, $799 in the US, AED 2,934 in Dubai
iPhone 17 Air: ₹89,900 in India, $899 in the US, AED 3,799 in Dubai
iPhone 17 Pro: ₹1,45,990 in India, $1,199 in the US, AED 4,403 in Dubai
iPhone 17 Pro Max: ₹1,64,990 in India, $2,300 in the US, AED 7,074 in Dubai
Rumors also point toward major changes in the hardware. Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo hints that the new iPhones will feature even more minimal bezels, an updated Dynamic Island interface, and integration with iOS 26.
In a break from tradition, Apple is reportedly dropping the “Plus” model in favour of a lighter, thinner “Air” variant. Display upgrades are expected across the board, with the base iPhone 17 likely growing from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. It’s also believed to get a refresh rate boost from 60Hz to 90Hz, while the Pro versions will continue to use 120Hz panels. On cameras, MacRumours reports that the Pro variants will feature an upgraded telephoto lens capable of 8x optical zoom—a step up from the 5x on the iPhone 16 Pro. Additionally, Pro and Pro Max models are expected to get anti-reflective coatings similar to what Samsung offers on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Color options for the iPhone 17 series may include black, grey, silver, light blue, light green, and light purple. The launch is set for September 2025, and in true Apple fashion, details will likely be confirmed closer to the lineup’s official unveiling.
