Apple is reportedly working on a new MagSafe battery pack with a cool feature

It seems like Apple is planning to switch all of its accessories to USB-C by next year. This process will likely be quick, similar to when Apple transitioned from the 30-pin charger to the Lightning port in 2012. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg mentioned on the MacRumors Show podcast that Apple may release a new version of the MagSafe Duo with USB-C support, as well as an updated MagSafe battery pack. He also mentioned a new stackable MagSafe battery pack that would allow users to charge multiple devices simultaneously by placing iPhones on one side of the pack. Additionally, there are expectations for a new version of AirPods Pro with a USB-C compatible charging case, although it may not be referred to as the “third-generation.”

Gurman says that Apple will make a USB-C version of the MagSafe Duo

Gurman discussed some details about the iPhone 15 series as well. The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to have a lighter and more durable build with the use of titanium. However, this lighter material may be more prone to dents when dropped on certain surfaces. The bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro models will be reduced by 33% compared to the previous generation, thanks to a technique called low-injection pressure over-molding (LIPO). Additionally, Gurman expects a 10% increase in battery life for the iPhone 15 Pro models, partially due to the use of the 3nm A17 Bionic chipset.
