Apple has officially unveiled the Apple Watch Series 10 at its annual “It’s Glowtime” event on Monday.
This new model introduces 42mm and 46mm sizes and boasts a 40% brighter wide-angle OLED display—the largest ever on an Apple Watch—allowing for easier viewing of emails and messages with an extra line of text.
With a thickness of just 9.7 mm, the Series 10 is 10% thinner and lighter than the Series 9. It’s powered by Apple’s new S10 chip, featuring a four-core neural engine, and showcases a sleek polished aluminium finish along with a new metal back that houses multiple antennas. It retains its water resistance up to 50 meters and includes a larger charging coil, enabling the battery to reach 80% charge in just 30 minutes.
One of the standout features, pending FDA approval, is sleep apnea detection. Utilizing the watch’s accelerometer, it monitors breathing patterns during sleep and alerts users to potential signs of sleep apnea, allowing them to share reports with their doctors for further evaluation.
The Series 10 is available in both aluminium and titanium finishes, replacing the previous stainless steel options, and comes in silver, rose gold/gold, and black color choices.
The GPS-only Apple Watch Series 10 starts at ₹46,900, while the cellular version is priced from ₹56,900. The titanium model, available exclusively in a cellular version, begins at ₹79,900.
The Series 10 will be available for purchase starting September 20 and will come with watchOS 11, which introduces several new fitness and health features.
In addition to the Series 10, Apple unveiled a new Satin Black finish for the Apple Watch Ultra 2, which debuted last year alongside the Series 9.
Apple also introduced the AirPods 4, available in two versions: the standard AirPods 4 for ₹12,900 and the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for ₹17,900. Both models feature a redesigned build for greater comfort, personalized spatial audio, and enhanced sound quality. They also include wireless charging and improved Find My functionality. The AirPods Pro will receive new Siri interactions and a “Hearing Protection” feature with iOS 18.
