The Poco F5 Pro has just jetted off to the global market and has already graced our office with its presence, eagerly awaiting its review.
This phone is no ordinary Joe, boasting the impressive feat of being the first Poco device with wireless charging capabilities. But wait, it’s not just any old 5W speed – the F5 Pro brings a whopping 30W wireless and 67W wired charging to the table. And the cherry on top? The 67W brick, a case, and a USB cable are all included in the box. The battery is also no slouch, packing a generous 5,160mAh unit.
Under the hood, the Poco F5 Pro rocks a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, with the option of 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and built-in liquid cooling, along with either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The display is a premium masterpiece, featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED of 3200x1440px resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and up to 480hz of touch sampling. The panel can even reach up to a luminous 1,500 nits.
On the back of the phone, there are three cameras – two of which play a significant role in elevating the photography experience. A 64MP main shooter and an 8MP ultrawide camera steal the show, while a 2MP macro lens plays a supporting role. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera.
For comparison, feast your eyes on the Poco F5 on the right, sporting a similar 6.67-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate – only at a lower 1080p resolution. The vanilla F5 comes equipped with the same cameras and a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery, but unfortunately lacks the wireless charging option. The F5 also features a less powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, but don’t be fooled – it’s just as efficient.
