Realme Confirms July 24 India Launch for Realme 15 and 15 Pro; AI Features and Sleek Design Highlighted
Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro smartphones will launch in India on July 24. This upcoming release marks a swift update to the brand’s popular number series, arriving just five months after the debut of the Realme 14 lineup. Interestingly, this time around, Realme appears to be skipping the Pro+ variant, choosing instead to focus solely on the standard and Pro models.
Ahead of the launch, Flipkart has unveiled a dedicated microsite for the Realme 15 series, offering a first glimpse of the devices and teasing some of their standout features. Realme is positioning the new series as a significant step forward, promising a host of improvements—from a more powerful chipset and better battery life to brighter displays and a sleeker, more refined form factor. The company is also emphasizing upgraded camera systems and enhanced AI capabilities.
One of the most talked-about innovations is the introduction of AI Edge Genie, a voice-activated photo editing tool powered by artificial intelligence. This feature aims to allow users to modify images using voice commands—for example, by adding visual elements like balloons or changing outfits in photos. While the concept is promising, its actual effectiveness in terms of edit quality, responsiveness, and natural results will be closely watched.
In terms of design, the Realme 15 series will be available in three eye-catching color options: Flowing Silver, Velvet Green, and Silk Purple. The rear panel has undergone a major redesign, now featuring a glossy camera island with three sensors arranged in two large circular modules, plus a smaller third ring. On the front, the phones sport slightly curved display edges, which not only enhance the viewing experience but also improve in-hand comfort.
Although full specifications haven’t been officially revealed, leaks hint that the Realme 15 Pro 5G may feature a 50MP main camera, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and configurations offering up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
